• Requiring or exhibiting courage or daring.
• Unduly forward and brazen; impudent.

Another week, another shit load of incorrect predictions. Who would have thought that Peyton Manning could play that bad and not get sacked a single time? Not this guy. That’s the way of bold predictions though; you make them because they are unlikely, yet possible. Kind of like Arizona leading the NFC in week 15, unlikely but obviously possible.

So how did I do last week? Not as good as the week before in which I used uncanny ability to nail three totally unlikely predictions. This week I again got three predictions correct, but they weren’t exactly ground breaking.

What I got right:

STL @ WAS – STL gets 7 sacks.

CAR @ NO – The Saints lose their 4th straight home game.

NYJ @ MIN – Both teams have 200+ pass yards.

As you can see, that is indeed three correct predictions. They seem a bit lackluster though. I mean 7 sacks is awesome, but we all kind of expected that. Picking the Saints to lose a 4th straight at home? Looking back on that one, it just kind of feels like picking on the fat kid in class. Honestly, perhaps the boldest of the 3 was the NYJ @ MIN game. It seems weak on the surface, but then you realize that going into the game they were averaging 175 and 189 yards/game respectively. I guess we learned a bit about their defenses this week.

What you got right:

Saints Chicka – Eagles Will Have Less Than 150 Total Yards On Offense

BKOB – I, BKOB, boldly predict that The Seahawks Defense will ACTUALLY allow a TD this week!

That’s it. That is all that you fools gave me to work with for the week. There were the usual, “Cards lose” or “HAWKS!” stuff but even most of that ended up being wrong. I do have some amazingly BOLD predictions from SEA fans predicting a Super Bowl win (do you think they know that it implies they think it is unlikely?), but other than that nothing. I’ll assume because the article was posted on Sunday that it interfered with your cognitive abilities and that we’ll see better thought out stuff next week. Come on guys, Chicka got one right.

And now for this week’s predictions.

Thursday Night Football:

ARI @ STL – Go big or go home. STL has its third straight shutout on defense.

Sunday’s Games:

PIT @ ATL – Julio Jones, nursing a hip injury, again goes for over 200 yards receiving.

WAS @ NYG – Colt McCoy throws for 4 TDs.

MIA @ NE – Gronk has less than 50 yds no scores.

OAK @ KC – OAK has less than 60 yards rushing.

HOU @ IND – JJ Watt had three batted passes.

CIN @ CLE – Manziel fumbles 4 times.

JAX @ BAL – The Ravens defense scores more than the Jaguars offense.

GB @ BUF – Rodgers has three turnovers.

TB @ CAR – Mike Evans scores three TDs.

NYJ @ TEN – Wow. Um, Delanie Walker scores two TDs.

DEN @ SD – Manning rebounds and throws for 6 scores.

MIN @ DET – 12 + total sacks in this game.

SF @ SEA – Wilson has more turnovers than Kaep

DAL @ PHI – Murray goes for 200+

Monday Night Football:

NO @ CHI – NO scores 45 +
