There were some crazy outcomes week #1. 9 come from behind wins and 3 one point games. Both these are records in the history of NFL week #1’s.
Hopefully more of this goodness happens during week #2 action and my picks get a little more accurate. Thanks Rams, Cardinals and Colts for shitting the bed week #1, really messing up my picks.

NY Jets at Buffalo – Thu, Sep 15, 8:25 PM ET
Point Spread : -1 Bills
O/U : 40.5
Prediction: 20-17 Jets / Actual was 37-31 Jets winning high scoring shocker
Sunday Football
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh – Sun, Sep 18, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -3.5 Steelers
O/U : 48.5
Prediction: 27 – 24 Steelers
Might be the game of the weekend. Hard hitting and plenty of animosity between the two teams. I’m lightly leaning towards the home team.
Tennessee at Detroit – Sun, Sep 18, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -6.0 Lions
O/U : 47.5
Prediction: 33 – 24 Lions
The Jim Bob Cooter offense looks dynamic and ready to explode. These Lions actually are looking balanced on offense and should be able to score some points. Go with the home team.
Baltimore at Cleveland – Sun, Sep 18, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -5.5 Ravens
O/U : 42.5
Prediction: 26 – 13 Ravens
On the road is tough in the NFL, but with a dumpsterfire shining bright in Cleveland…. you just go with Flacco and the Ravens.
Dallas at Washington – Sun, Sep 18, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -3 Redskins
O/U : 45.5
Prediction: 23 – 20 Cowboys
The Redskins are improved on offense and defense. The record of 1-15 without Romo for the Cowboys points to one way to predict and bet this game….. go the other way.
New Orleans at NY Giants – Sun, Sep 18, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -5.0 Giants
O/U : 54.0
Prediction: 37 – 34 Giants
This game should be high scoring. Do you trust Manning or Brees….. and more importantly, do you own either in FF???
San Francisco at Carolina – Sun, Sep 18, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -13.5
O/U : 45.5
Prediction: 33 – 17 Panthers
I’m betting both hands on the Panthers to cover and outright win this game. It is one thing to beat the hapless Rams at home, but the defending NFC champs on the road is a tall order.
Miami at New England – Sun, Sep 18, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -6.0 Patriots
O/U : 42.0
Prediction: 23 – 20 Patriots
Very dangerous game. The Fish DL is legit. I would take Miami + the points, but the Patriots will win a close one.
Kansas City at Houston – Sun, Sep 18, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -1.5 Texans
O/U : 42.5
Prediction: 30 -27 Texans
The Chiefs were not their normal selves week #1, but they can rush the ball with a plethora of RBs. Expect more of the same this week, trying to wear down the potent Texans defense. The Texans WRs steal the show and the game.
Seattle at LA Rams – Sun, Sep 18, 4:05 PM ET
Point Spread : -6.5 Seahawks
O/U : 37.5
Prediction: 21 – 9 Seahawks
I fully expect the Rams to not put up another “stink bomb” game like week #1. I also do not see them being able to score more than 10 points on offense. How Todd Gurley goes, the Rams go. Seahawks will contain him…. for the win.
Tampa Bay at Arizona – Sun, Sep 18, 4:05 PM ET
Point Spread : -7.0 Cardinals
O/U : 50.0
Prediction: 26 – 24 Cardinals
Will the real Cardinals team please show up??? Are they contenders or pretenders…. they drop this game, they will have big problems in the desert. Good thing for them, they win this in a squeaker.
Jacksonville at San Diego – Sun, Sep 18, 4:25 PM ET
Point Spread : -3.0 Chargers
O/U : 47.5
Prediction: 27 – 20 Jaguars
The Chargers are done. The offense is in trouble without Keenan Allen at WR. The Jaguars are up and coming, the defense will put plenty of heat on Rivers and force a few TOs.
Atlanta at Oakland – Sun, Sep 18, 4:25 PM ET
Point Spread : -4.5 Raiders
O/U : 48.5
Prediction: 33 – 21 Raiders
The Raiders are a borderline playoff quality team. Time for them to show they belong in the conversation with a statement win vs a decent Falcons team.
Indianapolis at Denver – Sun, Sep 18, 4:25 PM ET
Point Spread : -6.5 Broncos
O/U : 46.5
Prediction: 27 – 17 Broncos
Bet both hands on Denver. The defense will make this a laugher, even if it is close going into the 4th quarter.
Green Bay at Minnesota – Sun, Sep 18, 8:30 PM ET
Point Spread : -2.5 Packers
O/U : 43.5
Prediction: 27 – 24 Vikings
Home opener at the new stadium. The place should have plenty of juice inside the building. The Vikings are a very good team…. but will Sam Bradford deliver? Upset, Vikings.
Monday Night Football
Philadelphia at Bears – Mon, Sep 19, 8:30 PM ET
Point Spread : -3.0 Bears
O/U : 42.5
Prediction: 23 – 21 Eagles
Eagles have several key players ruled out of the game. Which Bears team will show up? Can you trust Cutler to connect with his WRs.. or just throw tantrums….
