Welcome back to the Charlie The Unicorns Weekly Feature. NFL Week 6 is here. For the record, 50-27 straight-up / 41-36 (ATS – against the spread)….. Last week was a bad prediction week, barely above 500. Lot’s of work to do this week, to get a 10+ pick winning week going… so keep this brief. As always, the number of stars rank the best games, in my opinion, to sink your precious time into watching.

Falcons at Saints 8:25 PM CBS/NFL (*)
Point Spread : -3.5 Falcons
O/U : 51.5
The Julio Jones injury situation is disconcerning. Without him at 100%, the Falcons sputtered on offense last week. I’m going with the home team in a shocker.
Prediction: 27 – 24 Saints
Sunday Football (OCT 18) EASTERN TIME Broadcast
Redskins at Jets 1:00PM FOX
Point Spread : -6.0 Jets
O/U : 40.5
I’m going with the better overall team right now. Jets defense is not giving up points to anyone. They will do just enough to win at home, perhaps Bowles pulls out a trick play on special teams for the win here.
Prediction: 20 – 16 Jets
Cardinals at Steelers 1:00 PM FOX (***)
Point Spread : -3 Cardinals
O/U: 44.5
Are the Cardinals for real? They are going to dodge a HUGE bullet, due to Vick playing in this game. The Cardinals defense has feasted, but can they contain two of my favorite players.. WR A Brown and RB L Bell????
Prediction: 24 – 21 Cardinals
Chiefs at Vikings 1:00 PM CBS
Point Spread : -4 Vikings
O/U: 43.5
The Vikings will rush all over the Chiefs. With Charles on IR, I just can’t see the Chiefs winning this game. They have to devlop and exploit an air attack vs the Vikings consistaning of only two playrs.. Maclin and Kelce, the Vikings know this as well. Home team in a laugher.
Prediction: 30 – 16 Vikings
Bengals at Bills 1:00 PM CBS
Point Spread : -3.5 Bengals
O/U: 42.5
The Bengals are good. How good are they really? The Bills ot having their preferred starting QB playing will hurt them. Rex Ryan always gives QB fits, there could also be a let-down after the win last week….but ultimately lets go with the hot team.
Prediction: 24 – 20 Bengals
Bears at Lions 1:00 PM FOX
Point Spread : -3 Lions
0/U: 43.5
The Lions are pathetic. The Bears are a shade above pathetic. This is a game where FF players might find some serious point potential, but why else would you watch this game? I guess we can see who truly deserves the #1 pick. Let’s ride with Forte on this one.
Prediction: 27 – 24 Bears
Broncos at Browns 1:00 PM CBS
Point Spread : -4 Broncos
0/U: 42.5
There is something off about the Broncos offense. They have not looked good all year. Could it be Manning getting old or is it a scheme that doesn’t fit him properly. The rushing attack has had flashes….. the Browns are a mess. I’m going to ride the Wareless Broncos defense in this one…

Texans at Jaguars 1:00 PM CBS
Point Spread : -1 Texans
O/U: 43.5
Terrible game. Both teams are already in dumsterfire mode. Arian Foster should have a huge day. I’m thinking Bortles will also have a huge day, if he can stay healthy. A higher scoring game with a crazy ending such as a safety or missed FG.

Dolphins at Titans 1:00 PM CBS
Point Spread : -2.5 Titans
O/U: 43.5
This is the Chris Keal lock of the week. The Fish (ahem) turn around their season. Ok, maybe not, but they look respectable for the first time this season. Dolphins “preseason mucho vaunted” defense comes to play. There are some sneaky good FF plays on the Titans this week as well.
Prediction: 27 – 24 Dolphins
Panthers at Seahawks 4:05 PM FOX (****)
Point Spread : -6.5 Seahawks
O/U: 41.0
Seattle is coming off an embarrasing loss to a very good team on the road. The offense is starting to turn the corner. Can they shore up the defensive woes against TEs? Kam vs Cam for the game winning play!
Prediction: 17 – 13 Seahawks
Chargers at Packers 4:25PM PM CBS
Point Spread : -10.5 Packers
O/U: 50.5
This could turn into a bit of a shootout, but the OL for the Chargers is pretty banged up. The Packers need to ride Lacy….. just let Lacy do the heavy lifting and keep Rodgers under 30 passes for the game.
Prediction: 38 – 27 Packers
Ravens at 49ers 4:25 PM CBS (***)
Point Spread : -2.5 Ravens
O/U: 43.5
I really love the 49ers for this game. The defense is coming around and the offense looked like it was figuring some stuff out. As long as the WRs and TEs help Kaep out, he should win this game. Maybe he will finish off the Ravens with a big time rush at the end of the game!
Prediction: 26 – 24 49ers
Sunday Night Football
Patriots at Colts 8:30 PM NBC
Point Spread : -7.5 Patriots
O/U: 55.0
Patriots are rolling. The Colts are limping. Patriots are a more complete team and Brady is angry. I would love to see them lose horribly, but let’s be honest….. the Colts defense sucks.
Prediction: 55 – 24 Patriots
Monday Night Football (OCT 19)
Giants at Eagles 4:25 PM ESPN
Point Spread : -4.5 Eagles
O/U: 49.5
A very tough game to predict. We have a jekyl and hyde Eagles and a recently surging Giants. Tough NFCE match-up, I’ll go with the home team. I could easily see the Giants winning, if OBJ was near 100% (and for that matter…. all the Giants WRs healthy). Shoot me, I’m going with Bradford in this one.
Prediction: 37 – 31 Eagles
