Welcome back to the Charlie The Unicorns Wildcard Playoff predictions.
Yes. It was a rough week 17 prediction week for me. Some teams laid an egg and other forgot they needed to win to get in the playoffs.
The Chiefs, Steelers and Seahawks are all hot and playing this weekend on the road. The Packers are playing cold, but they are headed to the Redskins, so it is a coin-flip. The lines have varied, but this is the first time (see ####) that all four road teams might end up being favorites when each game starts.
I think you have to look at the QB play when making these picks. I also picked the Steelers vs Seahawks in SB50 in preseason, so let’s not do anything stupid during the WC week picks. Alright, let’s get to some picks. For the 2015 record, 164-92 straight-up. In 2014, I went 168-88 straight up.
But as we know, the second season starts at 0-0 for everyone… and every team wants to go 1-0 every week.

Forcast: 0 Degrees / Partly Sunny
Prediction: 21 – 16 Seahawks
Packers at Redskins 1:20 PM FOX (*)

Forcast: 48 Degrees / Partly Cloudy
Prediction: 24 – 20 Redskins
I’ll play with house money and take the favorites this weekend.
The Redskins were a dog earlier in the week, but now favored…. a 2 point swing in 3 days. 🙂
