NFL Media’s Mike Mayock released his top 100 on Monday and North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz ranks as the No. 1 overall prospect.Cal’s Jared Goff, the next quarterback on the list, sits at No. 10. Paxton Lynch sits at No. 20. Mayock has gone all in with Wentz’s evaluation this year, and some in the NFL have also (i.e. the Eagles). Mayock has evoked comparisons and Luck and Brady, stating the quarterback prospect can mean that much to whatever team selects him. We think the future No. 2 pick needs to speed up his process in the pocket instead of getting stuck in quicksand with a wide base, locking on to a primary receiver.

Ever since Pederson was hired, the desire was to get a QB to groom for the long-term. Before Bradford was re-signed, Eagles express their desire to get another QB. The question wasn’t if the Eagles would draft a long-term option for QB but where in the draft. Bradford knew this the entire time. Even went as far as expressing that he is not afraid of competition. Now that the Eagles are in the #2 spot, Bradford is being a bitch.

Once they pick a QB with the number 2 pick after a costly trade up, they HAVE TO go with the drafted QB, the GM’s own job is on the line with a pick like that. This is the simple truth:
What the Eagles were telling Bradford when they signed him to that 2 year deal was that though they would bring in some competition from mid rounds of the draft or FA, the job is his to lose and if he shows them something, next year that contract gets extended and he becomes their franchise QB. There was no other rational way to read that.
By executing a costly trade up to the number 2 spot and presumably picking a QB in that spot, they have changed their tune and guaranteed that Bradford has no chance to remain the starting QB in the long term, that effectively the politics of competing with a number 2 pick who GM spent several costly picks to aquire means the job is no longer his to lose, it means one of 3 things (that he is a placeholder for 1 season) (that he is nothing more than a backup plan in case the rookie QB is a bust) (he is trade bait).
Any player in the NFL would be royally pissed in such a situation, even a guy who has effectively robbed 2 NFL teams of 60+ million dollars without showing much for it.

That total cost is now attributed to the pick. Basically the GM has staked his reputation and likely his job on that QB panning out. Being in open competition with a first rounder is tough, but being in competition with a guy who represents half a draft’s worth in picks is ridiculous. And every player thinks like that, no matter how much money they make. They want to play and they want job security.

Truth of the matter is the Eagles are treating Sam way better than the Skins treated RGIII his last season with the team. They are giving Sam every opportunity to prove he deserves to be a starting QB in the NFL and 40+ mil guaranteed while the Skins didn’t even let RG compete for the job and paid him a small percentage of the money. The assumption is that he likely thought he had a chance to be extended in Philly and get to stay in the same offense if he earned it. Now…there’s little to no chance of that happening.
If you factor in the dumping of his boy right after he signed the deal and the fact that Philly didn’t bring in any weapons to help in FA and spent the bulk of their draft capital on his replacement (also meaning no high round help) he likely thinks it’s best to move on. Let Chase Daniels be the care taker.

I would recommend researching average salaries of people with said degrees and comparing that versus the loan debt you are likely to incur and then making a choice. Again, that’s not always the case, such as teachers who get paid poorly considering the level of education, which results in fewer top quality teachers since those people go chasing jobs that make more money. For some of these degrees though, I would recommend having a very solid “minor” to go with that flighty “major”.

My biggest beefs with Bernie Sanders as a President
1–His health care plan is just plain stupid. It tries to get all the benefits of European plans with no drawbacks, resulting in something that would have to raise US tax income by 20% just to maintain. Other single payer plans have been out there for decades that are far, far, FAR more affordable.
2–His plan to “fix” the banking system doesn’t really work. He focuses on reducing size of banks and reinstating glass-steagal but the problem that caused the crash was lack of regulations on derivatives markets and regulators allowing bottomfeeding mortgage deals and then not stepping in to fix the problem early on out of a fear of “overstepping government’s proper role”. Bernie’s solution fixes none of that. Hell, Glass Steagal is a red herring since loopholes had been letting banks run circles around it since the late 1960’s, and by the late 80’s it was already considered “dead” regulations and barely enforced.
3–HE VOTED AGAINST THE FIRST GULF WAR. Seriously, for a guy who loves to trumpet his lack of support for the Iraq war as reason he is better than Hillary in foreign policy, this is a huge indication that he doesn’t know what the hell he is doing. Easily one of the most justifiable wars of the last 50 years and in a world where we would have done what Bernie wanted and not protected our allies (Kuwait and Saudi Arabia), it would have resulted in Saddam gaining over half the world’s oil and all of our allies being put on notice that we don’t protect or defend our allies, sparking both a new global conventional arms race and a new global nuclear weapons race, mabye resulting in 20 or so more countries having nukes by now than IRL. It would have undermined any semblance of post-cold war global draw downs in military hardware and WMD’s, making for a far more dangerous world and a world that we would have less of a say in. AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFIER.

I love the poll that showed that 66% of Bernie’s supporters are unwilling to let their taxes increase by 1,000 dollars or more per year for universal health care, while Bernie’s actual plan requires a 4,700 dollar increase in taxes for the middle class to pay for it according to Bernie’s math, and almost every expert in the country says his plan would actually cost 1.3 TRILLION per year more than his plan says it would. Honestly I think Dems are partly at fault for the lack of federal decriminalization or at least reducing down from a shedule 1 narcotic. It politically helps them more to push pot legalization measures state by state cycle after cycle to encourage young voter turnout.
