Robert Griffin III isn’t the only NFL quarterback who spars with fans on social media. Colin Kaepernick got into a Twitter battle with a fan today over the fan’s reaction to Kaepernick’s description of the work he put in today.
Kaepernick tweeted that today he did “1000 abs…. arm workout….. 10 min straight on the jump rope…. 2 hour study session in February….. that’s what we call a recovery day!”
One fan saw that tweet and wrote back at Kaepernick, “ab workout won’t help find open receiver #study.”
Of course, Kaepernick did study. It was right there in the tweet that he did a two-hour study session. That led to Kaepernick firing back at the fan, asking, “Are you illiterate or just ignorant?”
Kaepernick went on to tell the fan he should mind his own business, call him a “clown” and make fun of the fan for having only eight Twitter followers.
