BKOB’s team is stellar beyond FF Gods so we will use his as an example.
Step 1, grab a writing utensil.
Step 2, write your shitty team players down.
Step 3, assign contract length. Defensive players must be 1 year contracts for this season (highlighted in orange)
Currently BKOB’s team has used 27 years out of the 52 year cap. He will have 25 years of cap to add and remove players. For example, if he cuts Carr for blowing (3 year contract) it will be half of his contract for a cap penalty. That means his cap would go from 27 to 25.5 and then he’d have to assign at least a 1 year deal to what player he adds.
Maximum length contract and extension is 3 years.
After the season Ingram, Olsen, R. Jones, C. Jones, Posluszny, Wags, Sproles, Blount, Boldin, V Jack, and McCoy will but Free Agents. 2 of these players can get the RFA tag.
BKOB RFA’s Ingram and Boldin and assigns a 5th and 6th round pick to them. That means someone can offer a 4th or 5th and if BKOB does not match them then the player/players will go to the other owner. If he does match then he will be able to keep those players and assign new contracts up to 3 years and lose the draft draft picks he assigned.

1 player can be extended each off season, it can be a FA or someone under contract up to 3 years. Say BKOB is dumb and extends Newton 3 years after this season. He will be under contract for 5 more years (If you all don’t rage quit from losing to me).
Going into next season he would have 7 players still under contract and his cap would go to 9 years out of 52 (BKOB can’t do math). The remaining 43 years would go to drafted players and FA signings during the offseason.
Step 4, instead of hand writing all your stuff above, just type it and post it to the Fleaflicker message board after we finish the draft. If you still don’t get understand, please let me know.
*Do not use all 52 years of cap because then you will not have any cap left to sign players if someone goes on IR or sucks.
