We pressured Foles a ton and moved him around a bit. 1 Sack was low but he was never comfortable all game. We also did it with minimal blitzing which is new and allowed the secondary to play it safe.

1) The O line has to give Weeden a clean pocket consistently. Weeden has a strong arm and is very accurate, he just doesn’t make good decisions when rushed. He needs time to go through his reads.
2) The defense has to get pressure on Ryan so Julio isn’t a factor.
I’m pretty sure the defense can do it’s part because the Atlanta O line hasn’t been all that great thus far. I think the O lIne can provide the protection as well.
He’s 0-8 in his last 8 starts and has the lowest QBR (26ish) of anyone in the NFL since 2012.

I think it’s fair to say, in light of the moves the cowboys are making at QB, that it is WAY too premature to believe that romo will be back in 8 weeks.
And, based on Garrett’s press conference after the Cowboys learned the results of Romos diagnostic testing, and particularly Garrett’s CLEAR dour recitation of what was going on, I don’t think Romo will be back until week 13. At the earliest.
