They played the call of that punt return on the radio this morning, and I know it’s a Philly sacrilege but that call is the reason I hate Merrill Reese. Sproles slipped past like 5 tackles on that play weaving in and out of the defense, but all we heard was “Sproles on the far sideline, 15, 20… 25 30… 35, 40… He’s gonna go! 35, 30… 25, 20… 15, 10, 5, TOUCHDOWN!!”
Nobody listening had any idea what actually happened on the play, but at least we got our countdown in 5 yard increments. Thanks Merrill.

JosephR2225 Agreed, Kiko has top 5 at his position upside, and the combination of him and Kendricks healthy could be lethal, but if he can’t go, I’m very excited about Hicks in extended action. He has great natural instincts and just always seems to be around the ball.

Quick Thoughts on Eagles-Jets:
-Good to see improved play from the OL BUT they still have a ways to go. Barbre & Gardner fared much better. Run game getting going was nice
-D played great! Bair, Rowe & Hicks really stepped up. Need to see more of Rowe & less of Biggers. Good to see our CBs plays closer to the LOS at times.
-Good 1st half, shitty 2nd half. Gotta bury teams when you have leads like that. No reason for the Jets to have hung around
-Bradford needs to play better. 50% Completion isn’t going to cut it. Especially when the OL is giving you tons of time to throw

So I need some suggestions on the All BEast. In particular: DL, edge rushers, 2nd CB spot, maybe 3rd LB spot if warranted (I keep offense and defense at 11 players). Also any suggestions at OL if you think it needs to be changed. I was gonna keep it the same, but am aware that pthers may have watched their team’s OL more closely. No Eagles will be a part of it for sure.

So put Weeden or Eli in there at QB I guess? Not sure if any of the RBs had a good enought week to dethrown Alf and Jones. Take off Preston Smith, maybe Kerrigan not sure how others did.

Both our tackles allowed a hurry, but did very little else wrong.
Armstead is quietly playing as well as any tackle in the league right
now, while Moses will hope he’s put a shaky start to the year behind
him.
Safeties: Harrison Smith, Vikings (+5.2) and Walter Thurmond, Eagles (+2.8)
Is there a better safety in the league than Smith right now? It was
another fantastic effort from our top-ranked safety against San Diego.
In something of a surprise, Thurmond has thrived since moving to safety
in the Eagles’ scheme.
Returner: Darren Sproles, Eagles (+1.2)
He is still incredibly dangerous on returns, as his touchdown proved.
I have them separated. Only reason I didn’t last week was because it was the same player.
Sproles drop was even worse. It was a guaranteed TD. Mathews might have been as well though.

Looking at this, I’m thinking Ayers should make the list
Linebackers: Paul Worrilow, Falcons (-8.1) and Anthony Hitchens, Cowboys (-3.9)
It was only a matter of time before Worrilow made his way onto this list, based on last year’s play. His coverage was not strong, allowing all 10 targets to him to be caught, for 115 yards. What’s worse is the 86 YAC he allowed on those plays. He also could not get off blocks in the run game, finishing with just one stop. Hitchens missed a tackle, made only two stops, and was generally taken completely out of plays by the Falcons’ offensive line.
Cornerbacks: Brandon Browner, Saints (-4.3) and Bashaud Breeland, Redskins (-3.5)
Browner allowed only four catches on five targets, but it was the fact that he was twice burned for 50-plus-yard receptions that puts him on this team. He also missed a tackle and had an illegal contact penalty (what else is new?). Breeland saw 10 targets his way, and allowed eight of them to be caught for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Eli Manning had a perfect passer rating when targeting Breeland.
Kicker: Cody Parkey, Eagles
Parkey’s kickoffs were bad, as he was unable to force a single touchback on five kicks

handful of traps and outside pulls to keep Atlanta’s defense guessing.
It’s usually hard to pick out individual linemen for good plays, and

I wonder what Randles yards per carry are on his runs after his 1st 6 or 7 touches. He wears down so quickly that the drop off is the most I’ve ever seen. I would guess he is averaging about a yard or less per carry in those situations.
