NFC East All Division Team – Week 10
THE bEAST TEAM
Season to date list of the best players the NFC East has at each position for the 2014 league year.
Offense
QB – Tony Romo
Romo returned with a broken back to defeat the Jags in London. He’s seperating himself from Eli and the others. Honorable Mention – Eli Manning
RB – DeMarco Murray
He won’t get 100 yards rushing this week! Honorable Mention – LeSean McCoy
WR – Dez Bryant & Jeremy Maclin & DeSean Jackson
These three receivers are living up to their names. Jeremy Maclin has been the MVP for the first place Eagles. DJax is leading the league in 40 yard catches and Dez continues to prove he’s among the league’s elite. Honorable Mention – Odell Beckham Jr.
Tight End – Niles Paul
It will be curious to see how Paul’s usage will be after the bye and a healthy Jordan Reed. Honorable Mention – Zach Ertz
Tackle – Jason Peters & Tyron Smith
Peters finally gets his buddy back next to him. Tyron gets a much needed week off. Honorable Mention – Trent Williams
Guard – Zach Martin and Weston Richburg
Mathis is back. He’ll likely bump Richburg from this list eventually. Honorable Mention – Todd Herremans
Center – Travis Frederick
Frederick’s played well all year. Doubt Kelce will supplant him at this point. Honorable Mention – Jason Kelce
Defense
Edge Rushers – Ryan Kerrigan & Connor Barwin
These two keep piling up sacks. Connor and the Eagles went crazy on the Panthers offensive line. Honorable Mention – Robert Ayers
Interior Defensive Line – Fletcher Cox & Jonathan Hankins
It’s past time Jonathan Hankins moves up from the Honorable Mention category. Right when his team gives up 350 yards on the ground. Seems legit. But really, he has been one of the few bright spots for the Giants. Honorable Mention – Tyrone Crawford
Linebackers – Rolando McClain & Keenan Robinson
With Kendricks back, I feel Rolando’s time on this list will be short lived. Honorable Mention – Jacquian Williams
Cornerbacks – Orlando Scandrick, Bashaud Breeland, Brandon Boykin
With Prince lost for the season and most of the starters sucking, the slot man, Boykin, gets his shot. Can he keep it from the likes of Carr and Fletcher? Honorable Mention – Brandon Carr
Safety – Malcolm Jenkins & Antrel Rolle
These guys don’t have much competition. Honorable Mention – Barry Church
Special Teams
Place Kicker – Dan Bailey
Punter – Donnie Jones
Returner – Darren Sproles
Brokebacks – 9
Greenbloods – 8
Northern Aggression – 3
Good Guys – 5
