“Well, a lot of times when he goes in there, he gets two people
covering him,” Kelly said. “So they’re not mismatches; it’s an advantage
for the defense, so we have to go away from him. You know what I mean?”
According to Sproles’ teammates, however, two people covering the
running back does present a mismatch. The middle of the field appeared
to open up twice on Sunday because of the extra attention

aware of. They definitely play him differently because of the aspects

splooz It’s true, and overall we have played better than I expected but still huge issues. Where did our run defense go? That front 4 is an easy 6 yard gain before someone from the secondary can get the stop. Our run game is done, with ALF hurt and Jones not able to hold onto the ball, just move to all passing and be done.
Plus, you know, not having a QB.

lddsfuws Ive been rooting for Carolina to win out prior to playing Dallas. They are good but not undefeated 16-0 type of good. Gonna have a let down game at some point, might as well be against Dallas. Still, sweeping the Skins, winning AT Green Bay, and beating both the Jets and BIlls (who at least have defensive pieces) is a pretty fucking tall order and I don’t think 8-8 gets them in so they need to win out and even then they probably only have a 50-50 shot of getting in at 9-7
