The Real BKOB Report: Week 10 Edition

Good morning SKA users. It’s Tuesday and that means it’s time to Arm Yourselves… WITH KNOWLEDGE!!!

Wow! What a weekend of football, FILLED with all kinds of Knowledge just waiting to be copy/pasted! But before we get into that, it seems like I have to clear the air about what The Real BKOB Report is trying to accomplish. People are using this resource irresponsibly, which can lead to serious injury or inaccurate trolling. Some SKA users want The Real BKOB Report to be all things to all people, and that’s just not a realistic expectation. The purpose of The Real BKOB Report is not to cover EVERY facet of EVERY game that’s ever been played. The Real BKOB Report is here to give you a quick, capsule review of all the stuff going on in the NFC West that YOU need to know if you want to make fun of other fan bases!

For instance, you’ve known forever that the Rams are awful. And you’d like to know why so you can make fun of their fans. But the LAST thing you want to do is actually WATCH a Rams game. So instead, you can check the latest BKOB Report and see that they have a terrible turnover margin, they can’t stop the run, and their quarterback has taken more punishment than Hope Solo’s beefy nether-regions. There you go! You are now an expert on the Rams!

Now let’s get to the bloody STATS!!!

    What’s changed?
Sometimes it hurts to be unbiased. Sometimes I want to stay up until 1am, paying subscription fees to hear random Internet Charlatans make up numbers that might help me feel better. This was one of those days. I almost wish that Chris Keal had never begged me (repeatedly) to copy/paste knowledge on a weekly basis for all the world to see. But I must remain consistent and announce that, using the same criteria I’ve used since last season, Russell Wilson has now plummeted to 3rd in the division amongst passers. *cringe* His passer rating is lower than the likes of Jay Cutler, Alex Smith and even Colin Kaepernick. Oh the shame! I HOPE YOU’RE HAPPY ADUSORON!!!

But you don’t need to be a Golden Boner Award Winner to know that Seattle’s passing game is all out of whack. I’d like to blame the offensive coordinator, or referees, but that’s just stupid. The blame for this falls directly on Russell… Okung. And the rest of the O-line. And the receivers. Everybody but Wilson. Oh, why have I been cursed with all this KNOWLEDGE?!?

    My Analysis:
All that being said, Seattle STILL has the top offense in the division thanks to their gaudy rushing numbers. So there. Their defense is also ranked top-10 in every yardage/scoring category. They are the only team in the division who can say that. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Also, Arizona’s numbers just get weirder and weirder every week. Their defensive line is so dominant against the run, and yet they can’t get to the quarterback. Patrick Peterson is the most over-paid player since Larry Fitzgerald, and yet the “No Fly Zone” has allowed the fewest points in the division. They’ve been the best team in the NFL through nine weeks, and yet it seems like it’s all been a strange dream. I guess the one thing they do right is score more points than their opponents. This is a ground-breaking concept that Jim Harbaugh should try to emulate in San Francisco – that is, if he has any interest in saving the season.

And now, how about your feedback? If you’ve already donated to SpikeKoolAid.com’s “Save the Starving Keals” foundation, feel free to post comments relevant to the article. If you haven’t donated yet, then I don’t know what is wrong with you. You’re literally ruining everything.

Thank you, and always remember: Kill… Danny… O’neil.
