Good morning SKA users. It’s Tuesday and that means it’s time to Arm Yourselves… WITH KNOWLEDGE!!!
Another glorious weekend of NFCW Football has come and gone, leaving a wonderful wake of Statistical Wisdom behind – so let’s grab our Knowledge Boards and get ready to ride!
Our great Nation is preparing for our annual Giving of Thanks, and every Tuesday morning I am thankful for the sheer joy and wonderment associated with number crunching, stat tracking and the application of red/yellow highlighting. Seriously, what could be more exciting than Knowledge?
So let’s get to the Main Course. I’m talking about STATS!!!!!!!!!

What’s changed?
Well hot dang! The standings have shifted ever so slightly! Those of us who have grown accustomed to seeing the 2nd place slot smattered with red ink will now have to adjust our gazes, as the Seahawks have taken over that spot with their perennially brilliant Defense, and markedly average Offense (average, that is, except for the rushing yards.) This is proof that the Statistical Tea Leaves are never wrong and that the cream always rises to the top. Or at least, NEAR the top. It makes you wonder how much higher Pete Carroll and his crew of plucky Title Defenders can climb before season’s end.
But of course, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Arizona’s Offense, which now ranks FIRST in the NFL in both Yards Gained AND Points Scored. Not too shabby. Hopefully this placates the insecure AZ fans out there, some of whom were very upset with me last week because I don’t write Homer Articles for their beloved Redbirds. I’ll remind them now that the BKOB Report is not a place where we overreact to single games, but rather a safe haven for Knowledge Seekers who are interested in the Big Picture.
Well, the Big Picture suggests that the Arizona Offense is a force to be reckoned with, and they have the 8-2 record to prove it. There, ARE YOU HAPPY NOW??
My Analysis:
There’s an undeniable Changing of the Guard taking place at the Running Back position – not just in the NFCW, but the NFL in general. Glancing at the top 15 rushers in the league will reveal a veritable Who’s-Who of “Who?” Adrian Peterson is #1 in yards, but after that it’s a litany of guys you could have picked up in the latest rounds of your fantasy draft. It’s a young man’s game, and between Todd Gurley, Thomas Rawls and David Johnson (whose impressive stats are not yet featured in the BKOB Report, due to the small sample size) the NFCW seems poised to lead the next era of great Rushers.
And now, how about your feedback? Did I finally say nice things about your team this week? If so, please thank me in the Comments section below.
Thank you, and always remember: Kill… Danny… O’neil………..
