The NFC West has 13 players ranked in this years NFL Top 100 list, which is voted on by fellow NFL players. All lists that rank professional sports athletes in a specific order are bound to create debate. This list is no different. Who got hosed? Who’s too high, or too low? Looking at this list by teams, it’s easy to see who is considered to have the most talent on their roster.
Seahawks – 8 players
Cardinals – 3 players
Rams – 2 players
49ers – 0 players
The division as a whole is dominated by defensive players on the list. There are 9 defensive players, and only 4 from the offensive side of the ball. Defensive dominance is nothing new to those who watch the NFC West. There are 44 defensive players in total on the list, so to have 9 from one division says a lot about the NFC West.
Now a look at the individual players ranked, and a couple words about each player.

Final thoughts: The LOB received recognition with 3 players listed in the top 50 (top 2 Safeties overall, and the top overall Cornerback). That said, DB’s as a whole did not rank high enough on the list. Oh, and poor Baalke and Tomsula….
