Now we are onto TEs and i feel as such this one might require a little explaining given the homer bias expressed in the last 3 articles. As you know 49er fans are not that smart but they are loyal even if they haven never even been to SF.

One of the biggest debates in the NFL is Kelce or Kittle. At first glance it is a fair question. Both are so good at their position that it is hard to separate which one is actually better. So let me help you with that.

On one hand you have Kittle who has the TE receiving record but only edging Kelce out by 40 yards.

Kelce has still remained the guy that delivers. Having 80 receptions and 1,000 receiving yards in four consecutive seasons and gives you elite WR numbers at TE.

Beyond the numbers Kittle is one of the best blocking TEs in the league right now as part of a line that creates huge holes for their middle of the road RBs. Kelce is no slouch at blocking though. Does a great job protecting mahomes and is pretty good on the run too.

But at the end of the day only one of these men cant be stopped. And that is Kelce. You can double team him, triple team him, it doesnt matter. His routes are crisp and his production is on par with some of the best WRs in the league. Kittle might be more of a safety net since he is more powerful and probably the best TE after the catch but Kelce is about as reliable as it gets in the NFL even without Patrick Mahomes.

Also if we look at the playoffs this year. Both played 3 games,

    Kelce : 19 catches, 207 yards, 4 touchdowns

    Kittle: 8 catches, 71 yards, 0 touchdowns

And with that  with that out of the way here are your top 40 TEs for 2020.

Please keep in mind these rankings reflect their talents this year just as much as how they ended last year plus your rookies joining the league. These are not the 2019 rankings people.
