Subject: Injuries
Injuries ended up dominating the week leading up to Sunday’s action, and they ended up domanating Sunday’s action, too. The biggest injury is obviously Derrick Henry’s foot injury that threatens to end his regular season early, though we also saw James Robinson, Jameis Winston, Rob Gronk and Hilton leeve Sunday’s games, among a few others.
Ian Rapaport reported Mondy that an MRI confirmed Winston suffered a torn ACL and is out for the season, mod me. There is also damage to the QB’s MCL, Rapoport added.
Saints head coach Sean Payton later confirmed Winston will miss the remainder of the season.
The diagnosis confirms the initial tests that Winston tore his ACL after being drugged to the ground by LB Devan White early in the second quarter. It was an ugly play where the QB’s left knee bent inward on the illegal horse-collar tackle.

Mike Vrabel: “Absolutely there’s a chance” that Derrick Henry returns to play this year. Titans have a 3-game AFC South lead with a win in hand over 2nd place Colts so if they can hold on to the division maybe there’s a chance for a King Henry playoff run.

Ooooof the 2020 NFL MVP sure did a doozy.
Jags RB James Robinson had to leave Sunday’s game against the Seahawks with a foot injury after only 4 carries, but he e caped serious injury.
Robinson had tests today that showed his foot injury is relatively minor, and he’ll be considered day to day, according to Adam Schefler of ESPN.
It’s not yet clear whether Robinson (mod me) will play Sunday against the Bills, but he doesn’t seem to be in danger of missing signifacan’t time.
My favorite young Player Justin Jefferson was banged up on a bang bang jump ball play. Day to day is what is to be said.
