Charlie The Unicorn’s – Wildcard Picks

NFL Postseason Week #1 is here. I went 12-4 last week …..and now I’m (168-90 overall straight-up)…..
Starting this week I’m 0-0, so lets see if I can get over 500, unlike the Rams. Wildcard week killed me last week, but after that I was money.
The wheat has been seperated from the shaft, the best of the best are left, to fight it out for the right to go to Phoenix, Arizona and SB XLIX!

This should be an outstanding weekend of football. Both “Prime Time” games should be outstanding.
The Broncos, Packers, Patriots and Seahawks eagerly await the victors in the next round.

Saturday Football (JAN 3) EASTERN TIME Broadcast

Arizona at Carolina – Sat, Jan 3, 4:20 PM ET ESPN

Point Spread : -6 Panthers
O/U : 37.5

The Panthers are hot at the right time. A very dangerous team on offense and defense. The Cardinals would have to play perfect defense and get some help from the offense. The first team to 13 points win this game.

Prediction: 16 – 10 Panthers

Baltimore at Pittsburgh – Sat, Jan 3, 8:15 PM ET NBC

Point Spread : -3 Steelers
O/U: 46.5

The key to this game is the health of RB L. Bell. Currently, he is out for the game. Unlike most years, this could turn into a shootout, due to less than stellar defenses on both sides. Flacco vs Big Ben.. who do you trust?

Prediction: 33 – 30 Ravens

Sunday Football (JAN 4) EASTERN TIME Broadcast

Cincinnati at Indianapolis – Sun, Jan 4, 1:05 PM ET CBS

Point Spread : -3.5 Colts
O/U: 49.0

The Bengals have a potent rushing attack, which can go wild on the Colts. Andy Dalton vs Andrew Luck…. AJ Green is listed as questionable, so if he is not available, the Bengals have NO SHOT. In close games, Luck is money.. and I’m betting on a tight game…

Prediction: 27 – 24 Colts

Detroit at Dallas – Sun, Jan 4, 4:40 PM ET FOX

Point Spread : -7.5 Cowboys
O/U: 48.0

The Best DL vs the Best OL in the NFL in 2014… this should be awesome. 2nd best scoring defense vs a top 3 scoring offense. This game comes down to Dallas rushing the ball, if they can, they will win.. if not, Romo will pull a Romo.

Prediction: 28 – 24 Cowboys
