TBH, it’s going to be a choice between Murray & ( R McClain, Durant) and, applying that calculus Durant,McClain bring more than the difference between Murray and Randle will.

There are going to be plenty of alternatives to Murray this offseason. Peterson and Lynch being 2 of them. Im not sure they will command much less per season but they won’t want as long a deal as Murray should get.

Cooley said yesterday that, still, today, if you say out loud at Redskins park that you don’t think RGIII is the future, and he somehow turns it around in these last 6 games, it’s complete blasphemy and you will be crucified on the practice field.
It’s all up to Snyder and what his opinion is. It seems to me that Jay Gruden is making a power play here. He’s got a 5 year contract worth 20 million. No chance Snyder eats that in year one. So Gruden is saying fuck it. No one has control of the place so he’s taking control. He was hired under the promise that he can make RGIII the man. He’s figured out it may not happen. So now Jay’s job is to convince Snyder that the team is better off without III. I’ve also started hearing musings that Danny may have turned his gaze to Bruce Allen. Seems like the water is hot in Allen’s seat. Deservedly so I might add.
But… RGIII will likely be on the team again next year. He deserves to at least get the last 6 games to prove it. The problem is, how is that fair to the other 52 guys on the team? Complete and utter cluster fuck.
I am willing to say right now that there is less than a 10% chance RGIII is on this team in 2016.

Why would you sign Peterson or Lynch if they cost nearly as much as Murray? I’d take Murray over either, mostly because of age/wear issues. Number one rule in the NFL is ” don’t pay old RBs big money.

Colt may very well be the better option, but better is irrelevant since we all know he isn’t the future. It’s not worth prolonging the trial of Griffin for what may just be an extra win or two. Keep Griffin in with every opportunity to succeed or fail and make a better informed decision on the future once the season is over.

Shanahan is one of the best coaches of all time and his name got drug through the mud because of that prima donna QB and prick owner. Shanahan saw RG wasn’t a team player and wanted to get rid of him while he could but Snyder wouldn’t let him. I don’t know where they Skins would be today but I do know they would be in a lot better shape if Snyder let him trade RG while he could have gotten huge value for him.

But if you ask me my gut feeling, if Adrian Peterson is out there on the street and the Cowboys have some cap room. I think the Cowboys will be interested in him. But I don’t think the Cowboys are going to pay DeMarco Murray anywhere near what he wants to be paid. I think they’ll end up reaching some agreement with him when push comes to shove. At that level they don’t need those skills to win and so they are allowed to languish, then the pro games come along and these guys always end up having a rude awakening.

I know I’ve brought this up only to hear opposition over the past few weeks but now that the Giants and Skins are out of the race its time to think about both teams drafting QB’s in the 1st round. Eli has one year left at about 17 mil and only 2.5 dead money, if they Giants can get anything for him this would be the time to move him and the Skins don’t seem to have next years starter on their roster. Am I the only one here who can see them both trying to draft their future QB?

I don’t think it would necessarily be bad for either team, but the Redskins are very very heavily invested in RG3 and have him under contract for one more year without having to devote too much salary to him. I think they still have to see if they can salvage something.

Dongtavious Steelwang cloisterwater Ertz made plenty of mistakes last year, just fewer of them resulted in turnovers. the missed tackle was a technique thing that the coaching staff was trying to change about him gunning just this week. Huff will be fine. It’s MSII I’m worried about.
