MVP – DeMarco Murray
He’s been dominant and has had the best start of a season any running back has ever had.
Offensive Player of the half year – DeMarco Murray
See above. In this pass happy league, it’s even more impressive.
Defensive Player of the half year – Ryan Kerrigan
Leads the division in sacks and key plays. Could have gone with a few dlinemen here but Kerrigan’s sacks put him over the top.
Special Teams Player of the half year – Dan Bailey
Sorry Parkey fans, Bailey remains the best.
Coach of the half year – Chip Kelly
His team is on top, even with Adrian taking out players left and right.
Comeback player of the half year – Jeremy Maclin

Offensive Rookie of the half year – Zach Martin
Wow. He might be the best player in the division. If not yet, one day.
Defensive Rookie of the half year – Bashaud Breeland
Wow. He might be the best defender in the division. if not yet, one day.
Team Executive of the half year – Jerry Jones
Laugh it up fuzz balls. His team was the talk of the NFL season so far. Exactly what he wanted.
NFC East All Division Team – Mid Season

Season to date list of the best players the NFC East has at each position for the 2014 league year.
Offense
QB – Tony Romo
Broken back and all, Tony continues to play at a high level. Eli had his chance to pass him but couldn’t get it done. Honorable Mention – Eli Manning
RB – DeMarco Murray
Clear cut MVP of the division so far this year. On pace to set the Cowboys and perhaps the NFL’s single season rushing record. Honorable Mention – LeSean McCoy
WR – Dez Bryant & Jeremy Maclin & DeSean Jackson
These three receivers are living up to their names. Jeremy Maclin has been the MVP for the first place Eagles. DJax is leading the league in 40 yard catches and Dez continues to prove he’s among the league’s elite. Honorable Mention – Odell Beckham Jr.
Tight End – Niles Paul
This was supposed to be the Ertz vs Reed year but with Reed going down early and the Philly passing game struggling, Reed’s backup Nile Paul stole the show for the first half of the season. Honorable Mention – Zach Ertz
Tackle – Jason Peters & Tyron Smith
All three of these tackles could be on this list. Peters has been the lone star on the Eagles offensive line. Tyron Smith may be the best lineman on the league’s best line. And Trent Williams continues to prove he belongs among the leagues very best left tackles. Honorable Mention – Trent Williams
Guard – Zach Martin and Weston Richburg
With Mathis out, these two rookies stole the show at the guard spot this year. Both were responsible in revamping their team’s offensive idenity while opening massive holes for their backs and keeping the pocket clean for their QBs. Honorable Mention – Todd Herremans
Center – Travis Frederick
Jason Kelce may be the best but with his injury, Travis Frederick has held this spot all year. Kory Lictensteiger’s move to center has been a good move for the Skins offensive line. Honorable Mention – Kory Lichtensteiger
Defense
Edge Rushers – Ryan Kerrigan & Connor Barwin
Kerrigan is the division’s defensive MVP and leads the division in sacks. He’s a terror on the field and never stops coming. Barwin turned it on late to keep his spot in an otherwise weak group. Honorable Mention – Robert Ayers
Interior Defensive Line – Fletcher Cox & Tyrone Crawford
Fletcher Cox and Tyrone Crawford have both come up big in key moments of games for their teams all year. These two are the runner ups for the Defensive Players of the Year award behind Kerrigan. Honorable Mention – Jonathan Hankins
Linebackers – Rolando McClain & Keenan Robinson
Keenan Robinson would finish fourth in the division’s defensive MVP race. He’s been everything the Redskins hoped he be and has been a major speed upgrade for that defense. Had Jeremy Maclin not stolen the show, Rolando McClain would have been the division’s comeback player of the year. He’s starting to tail off a bit. Let’s see what the second half holds for him. Honorable Mention – Jacquian Williams
Cornerbacks – Prince Amukamara, Orlando Scandrick, Bashaud Breeland
Prince has been the best corner in the division al l year, that is until Orlando came back from suspension and the Skins let a 4th round rookie start. Wow. Skins look to have found a diamond in the rough. Honorable Mention – Brandon Boykin
Safety – Malcolm Jenkins & Antrel Rolle
Two best safeties in the division and it isn’t even close. Rolle continues to lead the Giants defense and Malcolm Jenkins has been everything bird fans had hoped for. Honorable Mention – Barry Church
Special Teams
Place Kicker – Dan Bailey
Punter – Donnie Jones
Returner – Darren Sproles
