Prediction season continues and this time, the 49ers are going to receive some love (or hate) from me. Here we go.

Week 1: Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers show rookie Jared Goff a real NFL defense for the first time, Unfortunately, they also show him what a weak offense looks like from the other side, as the Niners drop their home opener.
Prediction: Rams 19 49ers 13
Week 2: San Francisco 49ers at Carolina Panthers
Despite the gap in talent, the 49ers hold their own against the Panthers for 30 minutes. Unfortunately, games are 60 minutes, and the last 30 do not go the 49ers’ way.
Prediction: Panthers 30 49ers 10
Week 3: San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks
This one starts bad and ends bad for the Niners as the Seahawks come out firing on all cylinders. The 49ers don’t stand a chance, dropping to 0-3 on the year.
Prediction: Seahawks 35 49ers 3
Week 4: Dallas Cowboys at San Francisco 49ers
Last time the Cowboys visited the 49ers, they earned a huge win in OT. 5 years later, Tony Romo does not have the same magic, and the 49ers stun the Cowboys and earn their first win of the season.
Prediction: 49ers 23 Cowboys 21
Week 5: Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers’ young defense gives the Cardinals all they can handle and does everything they can to pull off the upset. However, their offense does not score a touchdown and they drop to 1-4.
Prediction: Cardinals 20 49ers 9
Week 6: San Francisco 49ers at Buffalo Bills
For the second week in a row, the 49ers offense can muster only field goals. The Bills lead from start to finish and give the 49ers a lot to think about on the long plane ride home.
Prediction: Bills 26 49ers 12
Week 7: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers rebound nicely from their disaster in Buffalo as they take down the Bucs for their second win of the season.
Prediction: 49ers 20 Buccaneers 13
Week 9: New Orleans Saints at San Francisco 49ers
Coming off a bye, the 49ers finally get it right on offense, jumping out to an early lead and forcing the Saints to play catch-up. Their defense does a good enough job and the 49ers get their third win.
Prediction: 49ers 27 Saints 20
Week 10: San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals
All the good feelings the 49ers had after their two-game winning streak are quickly erased by a juggernaut Cardinals team. The Cardinals show why they are the best in the division, and the 49ers show why they are the worst.
Prediction: Cardinals 31 49ers 13
Week 11: New England Patriots at San Francisco 49ers
Tom Brady finally plays a game in his childhood team’s house and does enough to show 49ers fans why he should have been theirs. The 49ers keep it close, but the Patriots drop them to 3-7.
Prediction: Patriots 23 49ers 16
Week 12: San Francisco 49ers at Miami Dolphins
The 49ers jump out to an early lead and don’t allow the Dolphins to get anything going. Their defense puts on a show and the 49ers get their first road win.
Prediction: 49ers 17 Dolphins 10
Week 13: San Francisco 49ers at Chicago Bears
In their last trip to Chicago, the Niners won a thriller in overtime. This time, the Bears are more prepared and the 49ers do not have enough to win this time.
Prediction: Bears 33 49ers 17
Week 14: New York Jets at San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers offense comes out flat as a pancake, mustering only a field goal as the Jets roll.
Prediction: Jets 24 49ers 3
Week 15: San Francisco 49ers at Atlanta Falcons
The 49ers and Falcons have a tight battle, with the lead changing 7 times. Unfortunately for the 49ers, the Falcons get the ball last, and Matt Ryan throws a last second touchdown to drop the Niners to 4-10 on the season.
Prediction: Falcons 26 49ers 23
Week 16: San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams
The 49ers jump out to an early lead and hold it for most of the game. However, their defense falls apart in the fourth as the 49ers are upended by the Rams again.
Prediction: Rams 23 49ers 17
Week 17: Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers are determined to win their 9th straight week 17 game, but the Seahawks are the better team and they play like it. The 49ers play their best game against them since 2013, but still fall in their season finale, finishing with their worst record since 2004
