THE REAL BKOB REPORT: WEEK 13

Good morning SKA users. It’s Tuesday and that means it’s time to Arm Yourselves… WITH KNOWLEDGE!!!

This 2015 NFL Season is one for the books! And just like The Real BKOB Report, it gets better every week! I find it difficult to contain my enthusiasm!

I think my favorite part of this football season is that Adusoron has stopped writing articles for SpikedKoolAid.com. I think I deserve most of the credit for this development. The depth of my Knowledge is such that he can no longer place his misguided faith in the Statistical Charlatans of the internet – Enemies of Knowledge who force unwitting saps like Adu to pay a subscription for nonsensical stats (EPA, QBR, R2D2, K-Y Jelly, etc.) that fracture the sanctity of mathematical order, and can sometimes make his wildest analytical fantasies seem like they might have an actual basis in fact.

The merciless logic of the universe has shattered his conviction. By now he must realize that those disreputable websites will ALWAYS be inferior to The Real BKOB Report, because -unlike them- I can ALWAYS show my work!

Speaking of which, let’s get to the STATS!!!!!!!!!

What’s changed?
I’m running out of nice things to say about Russell Carrington Wilson. By now everyone has seen the numbers that PROVE he is the most accurate pocket passer on the planet. He proved it again this past Sunday, after having his way with a Minnesota defense that WAS ranked 4th against the pass, and 2nd in points allowed. But that’s to be expected from him at this point. He always turns it on at this time of year, which explains why the Seahawks are 13-2 in the month of December since 2012.

Instead, I shall heap praise upon the oft-maligned Seattle Defense, who have reclaimed some of their historical dominance. This group, which was ranked 8th in Points Allowed last week, has reasserted itself as one of the best units in the league. And they did it by holding the #1 Running Back in the league to 18 measly yards – the lowest total of ANY home game in his career. They also exposed Teddy Bridgewater for the sub-par, backup caliber passer that he is. They seem poised to go on yet another remarkable postseason run.

My Analysis:
I’ve decided to take a break from my “Ignore the Rams no matter what” policy to point out that the Rams are 32nd in passing yards – DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE ALLOWED THE FEWEST SACKS IN THE LEAGUE!! This seems completely insane to me. Can you imagine what Russell Wilson -the most accurate pocket passer on the planet- could do with that sort of protection?! He ALREADY has more yards than Aaron Rodgers, despite the fact that he has 74 fewer pass attempts, and has already been sacked 39 times. It’s scary to think how high his ceiling truly is.
