GOOD MORNING SKA USERS. IT’S TUESDAY AND THAT MEANS IT’S TIME TO ARM YOURSELVES… WITH KNOWLEDGE!!!
SpikedKoolAid has experienced an unprecedented uptick in new users over the past few weeks. You’d think it would be Rams fans, but no – That bandwagon is dead and buried. Instead, we find an influx of Knowledge Seekers from different Divisions in the NFL. No doubt they are curious about the stunning popularity of The Real BKOB Report, and they want to learn more about NFCW Stats. And who could blame them?
I for one would like to say “Welcome” to our new guests. Please be advised, newbies, that there’s a running gag here on SKA where some of our longtime users PRETEND like they don’t read my articles. They’re just looking for attention and nobody believes them.
Now for MY favorite part, and yours… STATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What’s Changed?
The Los Angeles Rams continue to make the fatal mistake of peaking too early. A foolhardy strategy if there ever was one. They’re 9-3 and they have the #1 Scoring Offense – Rookie mistake, McVey!!
December has always been the difference maker in the NFL, and I expect the Rams to promptly return to mediocrity – starting right now. They have a few tough games left, and then they play the Niners.
My Analysis
The big story in the NFCW that has been lighting up the SKA Comments Section since the 49ers’ “big” win is the Golden Boner-Worthy Performance of San Francisco Placekicker Robbie Gould, who single-footedly willed the hapless band of invalids to victory over the 3-win Chicago Bears.
Normally we don’t discuss two things on The Real BKOB Report – Cardinals, and Kickers. They just don’t move the needle. But in Gould’s case I’m willing to make an exception on one of those. Whether Gould was compensating for bad QB play in the Red Zone, or the inadequate play calling of his current Head Coach, Robbie just kept coming through. I think it’s safe to say that the 49ers have found their Franchise Kicker. A player that their next Head Coach can build around for years to come.
But of course, the REAL big story in the NFCW is -and always will be- Russell Carrington Wilson. He continues to baffle onlookers with his cartoonishly brilliant QB play. It’s fun talking to fans from other Divisions who are not used to seeing him play as much as we are. They don’t understand that he does this kind of stuff every week. It’s not just the highlights you see on ESPN or Twitter – It’s practicaly EVERY play. We NFCW fans are almost in danger of becoming numb to his surreal talents.
These newbies don’t understand that he’s going to make at least ten unbelievable plays every week where you think the Defender’s got him, and he just slips out from underneath the guy, or stiff-arms him into oblivion, or jukes him to the ground like Reuben Foster, or performs a reality-bending lateral pass that defies the laws of physics, or does that little flip move where he just magically creates 3 yards of separation and invariably throws a Touchdown to Jimmy Graham. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to describe Wilson’s 2017 Season as the most sensational thing in the History of Football.
