We continue the breakdown of 2018 non-division opponents for NFC West teams, this time looking at the reigning division champs, the LA Rams.
Like other NFC West teams, they will play the NFC North and AFC West in 2018. Due to their first place finish, they will be playing on the road against the winner of the NFC South and a home game against the the winner of the NFC East.

5. Vs Kansas City Chiefs
The good news: The Rams don’t play in London in 2018.
The bad news: They have to give up a home game to Mexico City instead.
Playing Mexico City isn’t nearly as exhausting or time-consuming as having to go to London, but it is unfortunate that the Rams have to give up a home game to another playoff team.
4. At Oakland Raiders
I can’t ignore a rematch of the old LA rivalry. The Raiders had a down year last year, but hired Jon Gruden as their new coach to hopefully change the culture. Carr vs Goff could be one of the great young quarterback battles that we’ll rarely see, so it should be fun to watch.
3. Vs Minnesota Vikings
The Rams had a great season in 2017, but their worst game came in Minnesota, where they couldn’t get anything going on offense in a 24-7 drubbing. This time, they play in Los Angeles and Minnesota’s quarterback situation is now up in the air. Expect a closer game this time around.
2. Vs Los Angeles Chargers
This will be the first meeting between these teams as LA co-tenants. It should also be a great game, considering the Rams are a good, young team on the rise and the Chargers went 9-3 in their last 12 after starting 0-4. Both teams have been notorious for having opposing fans take over their stadiums lately, so we’ll see how the stadium looks when they play each other.
1. Vs Philadelphia Eagles
The Super Bowl champions make another trip to Los Angeles in 2018. Carson Wentz tore his ACL in their 2017 matchup, but the Eagles still won 43-35.
Wentz should be healthy by the start of 2018, which will allow the #1 and #2 picks of the 2016 draft to face off again.
