Greetings, Knowledge Seekers.
Let’s revisit some of our favorite BKOB Report Excerpts from the 2024 Season! Oh what fun we’ll have. Feel free to contribute Excerpts of your own in the Comments Section below.
WEEK 4
It is my understanding that there are multitudes of new SKA members from across the globe, all of whom share one thing in common: they ALL demand MORE NFCW KNOWLEDGE!! These new readers may not yet be familiar with the ways of the BKOB Report, so I’ve provided the following “Questions that are Asked Frequently” section – or as I like to call it, “QAF”
Q: Why Tuesdays?
A: How dare you question me.
Q: Why wait until after Week 4?
A: I am a 20x Golden Boner Award winning sports genius, I think I know what I’m doing.
Q: “Week 4 Edition”? Isn’t it Week 5, now?
A: That does it, this QAF is over!!
WEEK 5
Like most unbiased sports journalists, I view this as a rivalry between good (the Seahawks) and evil (the stupid 49ers). The First Place Seahawks have won 15 of the last 22 meetings, and 10 of the last 13 in Seattle – including the NFCCG. Both teams are basically tied in Points Per Game scored/allowed but I give the tiebreaker to Seattle because they’ve won more games, and they have cooler uniforms and better fans. The 49ers haven’t won a Division game in nearly 300 days, which means Head Coach Mike Macdonald has the opportunity for a Boner Clinching Victory to add to his already blossoming legacy. I believe I speak for Knowledge Seekers all over when the world when I say “Good luck, we’re all counting on you”.
WEEK 6
WEEK 7
It’s well known that Brock Purdy is largely ineffective unless he’s surrounded by All-Pro teammates at RB, OL, TE, FB and WR – and that his stats and winning % deteriorate if only one of them is missing. But did you know that Brock Purdy plays at his absolute WORST when his team needs him the most: Trailing by less then 8 (or tied) in the 4th Quarter/Overtime? Iiiiiiiiiiit’s true!!
During my in-depth fraud investigation of Purdy, I uncovered 21 times he had the ball in the 4th Quarter/Overtime, either tied of trailing by ≤8 points, with a chance for a lead-changing score. These 21 drives happened during the course of 9 different games (both regular season and playoffs). Here are the results of those 21 drives:
Field Goal 7
INT 4
Running back TD 3
Missed FG 2
Punt 2
End of Reg. 2
TD Pass 1
The 49ers are 3-6 in those games, with one of those “victories” coming after their Defense got a 56 yard INT return in Overtime.
WEEK 8
Add the heroic comeback storyline to (RW’s) character arc, and he’ll match OTHER legendary QBs with forgettable mid-career stints who cemented their legacy with a dominant career resurgence (Brett Favre with the Jets, Kurt Warner with the Giants, Michael Vick with the Leavenworth Federal Correctional Facility, etc.) He already has the highest passer rating in NFCW History (minimum 1,000 pass attempts), so naturally the denizens of SKA will be cheering him on every step of the way!!
