Welcome to Charlie The Unicorns Week #3 Predictions.
After 3 weeks, Straight up Charlie 26-22 , Oliver 26-22 / ATS Charlie 18-30. This is easily the worst week of predictions I’ve had in 3 years. It was remarkably bad. But, as everyone knows, you get back on the horse and make predictions the next week.
There are a ridiculous number of 2-1 or 1-2 teams in the NFL headed into week #4….. the commish is again very pleased.
BYE WEEK: Packers, Eagles
Thursday Night Football
Miami at Cincinnati – Thu, Sep 29, 8:25 PM ET (Color Rush)
Point Spread : -7 Bengals
O/U : 46.5
Prediction: 28 – 20 Bengals / Actual 22 – 7 Bengals

Sunday Football
Indianapolis at Jacksonville – Sun, Oct 2, 9:30 AM ET (London)
Point Spread : -2 Colts
O/U : 49.0
Prediction: 30 – 27 Colts
I can easily see the Jaguars winning this game. Luck is banged up with a mysterious shoulder injury, but degenerate gamblers are taking the colts. Luck to TY Hilton… winner.
Tennessee at Houston – Sun, Oct 2, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -4.5 Texans
O/U : 40.5
Prediction: 24 – 16 Texans
JJ Watt is out. However, the Titans are not executing at a high level. Expect a ton of rushing from both teams, trying to keep their defenses fresh and potent. Fuller + Hopkins should be enough to get the job done for the Texans.
Cleveland at Washington – Sun, Oct 2, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -7.5 Skins
O/U : 47.5
Prediction: 34 – 14 Skins
The Skins should win, they are at home. Watching Pryor play on offense and defense was fun to see. Tremendous athlete and talent.
Seattle at NY Jets – Sun, Oct 2, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -1.5 Seahawks
O/U : 39.5
Prediction: 16 – 13 Seahawks
Injuries leading into the game and the players returning will give the Seahawks the edge.
Buffalo at New England – Sun, Oct 2, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -7.0
O/U : 42.5
Prediction: 27 – 26 Patriots
Everyone is assuming the Patriots will roll on this game. I’m not so sure… every QB is banged up for them and the possibility of Edleman playing QB
Carolina at Atlanta – Sun, Oct 2, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -3.0 Panthers
O/U : 50.5
Prediction: 28 – 24 Panthers
I’m not sure if the SB hangover has worn off, but if the Panthers drop this game…. they are in BIG trouble.
Oakland at Baltimore – Sun, Oct 2, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -3.5 Ravens
O/U : 46.5
Prediction: 33 – 28 Raiders
The Raiders on the road, scary. They have the more complete offense. Flacco could feast on the secondary of the Raiders, but going with the gut on this one.
Detroit at Bears – Sun, Oct 2, 1:00 PM ET
Point Spread : -3.0 Lions
O/U : 48.0
Prediction: 30 – 24 Lions
Jim Bob Cooter has created a dynamic offense that can score, except for WR Golden Tate… who is MIA. The Bears are banged up and frankly a very bad team.
Denver at Tampa Bay – Sun, Oct 2, 4:05 PM ET
Point Spread : -3.0 Broncos
O/U : 43.0
Prediction: 30 – 10 Broncos
Championship caliber defense will hold down the Bucs. Need I say more?
Los Angeles at Arizona – Sun, Oct 2, 4:25 PM ET
Point Spread : -8.0 Cardinals
O/U : 43.0
Prediction: 24 – 21 Cardinals
The Rams have a chance. Palmer has not looked like himself and the WRs are not helping him out. I think it will be a close game, but let’s go with the home team.
New Orleans at San Diego – Sun, Oct 2, 4:25 PM ET
Point Spread : -3.5 Chargers
O/U : 53.5
Prediction: 33 – 32 Chargers
The Saints are terrible on the road. Many injuries on both sides of the ball for both teams. Very unpredictable game. Home team have the edge when predicting games
Dallas at San Francisco – Sun, Oct 2, 4:25 PM ET
Point Spread : -1.5 Cowboys
O/U : 44.5
Prediction: 24 – 23 49ers
No Rookie QB has ever won their 1st 3 games with the Cowboys since 1970. Let’s go with the trend.
Kansas City at Pittsburgh – Sun, Oct 2, 8:30 PM ET
Point Spread : -4.0 Steelers
O/U : 47.0
Prediction: 34 – 24 Steelers
I’m calling it the L’Bell effect. Steelers get back on schedule in the passing offense.
Monday Night Football
NY Giants at Minnesota – Mon, Oct 3, 8:30 PM ET
Point Spread : -4.5 Vikings
O/U : 44.0
Prediction: 24 – 21 Vikings
Go with the for real defense to keep up the outstanding play. This should be an exciting game to watch, for once, on Monday Night Football.
Remember SKAsians, don’t hate the player, hate the game.
